Everyone who wishes to earn it must do:
One activity to serve the Community (Clean Community, Tree lighting, etc)
One activity to serve the elderly (Brighton Gardens, etc.)

Daisies must complete only these two activities.
Brownies must complete these two plus 1 other service of their choosing.
Juniors must complete these two plus 2 others of their choosing.
Cadettes and Seniors must complete these two plus 3 others of their choosing.
The town will have a special patch designed and will pay the cost for any troop who earns the patch, they will be given out at the Court of Awards.

Community Service Award Application

The Mountainside Service Unit of the Girl Scouts Heart of New Jersey Council is currently recruiting Girl Scouts of all ages. Girl Scouting starts with Daisies in Kindergarten and ends with High School Seniors. The Mountainside Unit is an active group which currently has Over 280 registered members. We’d love to add every girl who is interested in having fun, making friends and learning by doing!

If you would like your daughter to join Girl Scouts please fill out the application and send it in by June 14 for troop placement in September or at anytime for mid-year placement.
