As promised, we have all the monthly events planned out for the year. Will there be conflicts? Certainly, but we do the best we can.

Those who were at the meeting had first dibs on what they wanted to volunteer for, some wanted to think about it and get back to me. Every troop is responsible for chairing/co-chairing one monthly event or filling a service team job (sent with the leaders agenda). As you look over everything please tell me what you would like to tackle, I will assign troops who have not responded.

As a troop I would suggest that you give out the calendar to all your scouts and parents BEFORE the summer so they can plan accordingly but also here is your chance to get your adults involved. They have a full year to fulfill whatever committment you think you need from them. PLEASE, do yourself a favor and even if you don't think you need the help - get it. If you do everything the parents will just assume that's how scouts is run. Down the road when you need help you wont be able to get it.

Just a reminder - we are still looking for one or two volunteers to
chair our International Day. If you have anyone who might be interested
please let me know. Also.....Kara and Kathy (our encampment elves) have been working on our spring camping trip, so please try to start talking it up to your girls - they will only get excited if you are excited. It will be a great weekend for all!!!!!!!
